WHAT IS CATARACT / MOTIBINDU?
We have a natural lens inside our Eyes which transmits light rays that come into the Eye to help us see and view objects. This natural lens should be clear. A cataract occurs with aging and at times even at a younger age, due to gradual clouding of the crystalline lens and this blocks light from reaching the back of your eyes leading to Blurry vision, seeing Two images, sensitivity to light, trouble seeing well at night or needing more than normal light

WHO CAN OPT FOR CATARACT SURGERY ?
Cataracts are a part of the aging process but even people in their 40s and 50s have early cataracts due to various reasons which may not affect eyesight immediately but will develop into a severe cataract later in life. It’s better to consult your doctor when you are not able to see the objects clearly.
We offer three types of Cataract procedures
Small Incision Cataract Surgery
Phacoemulsification
Cataract Surgery
Femtosecond laser assisted Cataract Surgery
HOW TO CHOOSE THE BEST TYPE OF CATARACT FOR YOU?
The type of Cataract/Motibindu surgery is chosen once the investigation is done and based on the existing condition of the lens and overall condition of the eye, the Doctor decides the type of Cataract surgery and accordingly advises on which type of surgery is suitable for the Patient.
